Salim Khazem

Salim Khazem is an experienced AI Research Scientist currently working at Talan since January 2025. Prior to this role, Salim was a PhD student and AI researcher at both the Georgia Institute of Technology and CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique from January 2022 to November 2024. Salim's professional background includes a position as a Data Scientist at Capgemini Engineering from March 2021 to January 2022, where Salim utilized stacking and ensemble architecture techniques for 6D object pose detection and developed neural networks for anomaly detection in aircraft. Additionally, Salim completed internships at LISV and a previous company, focusing on deep learning for anomaly detection and transfer learning for brain-machine interfaces, respectively. Salim holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence from CentraleSupélec, where studies were conducted from January 2022 to November 2024, and a Master's degree in Engineering from Université Paris-Saclay, completed in December 2021.
