Answers in Genesis
Debra Kellum has extensive experience in the retail and human resources sectors. Debra worked at JCPenney from 1996 to 2000, where they held roles as a District HR Manager and Business Planning Manager. During this time, they oversaw human resources functions for multiple stores and established strong merchandising strategies. From 2000 to 2016, they worked at J.C. Penney Corporation, Inc. in various roles, including District Manager, Regional Coordination Manager, and Store Manager. In these positions, they managed store operations, developed staffing models, and ensured sufficient inventory and staffing levels. Since 2017, they have been working at Answers in Genesis, initially as a Human Resources Manager, then as a Director of Human Resources, and currently as Vice President of Human Resources.
Debra Kellum obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi during the period of 1982 to 1983.

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible. We also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its bedfellow, a “millions of years old” earth (and even older universe).
