Doug Gastright

Doug Gastright is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property law and licensing, currently serving as Senior Corporate Counsel IP and Licensing at Ansys since March 2023. Prior to this, Doug held the position of Partner and Patent Attorney at Ulmer & Berne LLP from August 2020 to March 2023 and worked as an Intellectual Property Associate at Frost Brown Todd from October 2013 to August 2020. Doug's career began in software development, with experience as a Full-stack Developer at Hobsons and as an Application Architect with Sogeti USA. Doug holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Intellectual Property Law from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
