Jason Simons

Jason Simons is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Ansys since January 2020, after previously holding the position of Senior Manager in the same area. Prior to Ansys, Jason worked at K&L Gates from February 2015 to January 2020, where roles included Manager of Risk Reduction and Engineer & Team Lead in Information Security. Jason's earlier career includes a tenure at Fetter Logic, Inc. from June 2005 to February 2015 as Chief Security Officer/Director of IT and Senior Systems & Security Engineer, along with experience at Questeq as a Technical Support professional from August 2003 to April 2005. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems Management from Robert Morris University between 2001 and 2005.
