Pulama Bhattacharya

Pulama Bhattacharya is an experienced R&D Engineer currently working at Ansys since January 2022, contributing to both the Contact team in the Mechanical Business Unit (MBU) and the MCAD team in the Engineering Business Unit (EBU), where algorithms for complex geometry and meshing operations have been developed. Prior to this role, Pulama served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brigham Young University under Dr. Michael Scott and gained significant internship experience at Coreform. Education includes a PhD in Computational Geometry & Applied Mechanics from Brigham Young University and North Carolina State University, alongside a Master of Technology in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Construction Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
