Yorgos Koutsoyannopoulos is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate development and engineering, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Engineering at Ansys since February 2019. Prior to this, Yorgos was a member of the Digital Economy Commission at the International Chamber of Commerce from January 2012 to February 2019, contributing to policy development for the Internet and ICTs. Yorgos also served as CEO of Helic for nearly 19 years, driving innovation in Electronic Design Automation software for integrated circuits. Additionally, Yorgos held the position of Chairman at the Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association from February 2007 to May 2013. Education includes a PhD in Microelectronics from the National Technical University of Athens, along with executive courses in Leadership from Harvard Business School and Marketing from London Business School.
