Gary Wong

Gary Wong is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as the Business Development Director at Ant Group since December 2016, Gary has a strong background in e-finance initiatives gained during a previous role as Senior Manager at Bank of China (Hong Kong) from July 2004 to November 2016. In this capacity, Gary managed projects related to the Cross Border e-Commerce Platform, system enhancements for SVF licensees, online supply chain development, and the BOC QR e-Wallet, while facilitating collaboration with fintech startups, app developers, payment institutions, and telecom operators. Gary holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Statistics from The University of Hong Kong, earned between 1997 and 2000.
