Jing Xu

Jing Xu is currently the Director of ESG Sustainable Development at Ant Group, overseeing the implementation of the company's ESG strategy, governance structure, and stakeholder communication since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jing served as Deputy General Manager of Strategic Investment at Alibaba Cloud, managing post-investment activities and strategic investments in key sectors, and as Director in Public Affairs, facilitating cooperation with government entities on digital transformation initiatives. Jing's earlier experience includes a Senior Manager position at Alibaba Group, focusing on international relations in cross-border policy making, and a Government Relations Manager role at Tesla Motors China, where responsibilities included regulatory compliance and policy advocacy. Jing's foundational experience at AQSIQ encompassed trade negotiations and bilateral cooperation with foreign counterparts. Academic qualifications include an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and a B.S. in Chemistry and Economics from Peking University.
