Zheng Gao

Zheng Gao is a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Ant Group since February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon from June 2020 to January 2023, where Zheng developed a DownStream Impact framework to assess the effects of Alexa Intelligent Decision programs. Previously, Zheng worked as a Research Assistant and Adjunct Lecturer at Indiana University Bloomington from August 2015 to June 2020, and as a Data Scientist Intern at Amazon in 2019. Zheng's early career includes a Research Internship at Alibaba Group, focusing on generating product review summaries using advanced AI techniques. Zheng holds a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor's degree from Shanghai International Studies University.
