Max Talanov

Max Talanov has extensive work experience in various roles related to research, teaching, and management in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Max is currently serving as the Chief Research Officer at Ant Robotics since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Associate at The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia starting from December 2022.

From 2013 to 2021, Talanov had a significant tenure at Kazan Federal University, where they held multiple positions. Max started as a Lecturer and taught the Software Design course while managing various aspects of software development. Max later became the Head of Neuromorphic computing and neurosimulation laboratory, leading research in neurosimulations and neuromorphic computing. Additionally, they served as the Docent of the intelligent robotics chair and created and managed a scientific group.

In 2020, Talanov founded B-Rain Labs LLC and served as the Founder and Chief Research Officer until April 2023. Max managed the publication, grant, and research policies of the company and actively participated in research projects.

Earlier in their career, Talanov worked at Fujitsu as a Software Design Architect, specializing in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Artificial Emotions. Max also held the position of Software Design Architect at Intelset and worked as the Head of the IT Department at TechOptTorg.

Talanov's educational background includes a position as the Deputy Director for Science at ITIS Kazan Federal University from 2016 to 2018. Max also served as a Lecturer at Innopolis University in 2014 and held the role of a web-programmer at Kazan State Technical University from 2002 to 2005.

Max Talanov holds a PhD in Math modelling of Electromagnetic fields in plasma from Kazan State Technological University, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended School number 18 from 1981 to 1991, but no specific degree or field of study was provided. In addition to their academic qualifications, Max Talanov has obtained several additional certifications, including Machine learning fundamentals for lecturers from the Higher School of Economics in 2021, Teaching excellence program from iCarnegie Global Learning in 2014, and IBM Certified Solution Developer - WebSphere Message Broker V6.0 from IBM in 2007. Max also has an upcoming attendance certificate from the Data Science Conference in Europe, which will be obtained in 2023.
