Chetan Bansal

Chetan joined Antara in early 2020 and serves as Partner and Co-Head of Investment Research. Prior to Antara, Chetan was most recently a Managing Director and Head of the Illiquid Credit Solutions Group at BTIG. He previously co-managed a $150mm proprietary investment portfolio at Jefferies LLC. Prior to that, he was a Sr. Analyst at Citigroup, on the Distressed Debt Trading Desk. Prior to that, he spent 6 years in Silicon Valley, including 4 years at Cisco Systems, in the Corporate Business Development Group, where he was charged with running venture investments and strategic acquisitions for a number of product areas. Prior to business school, Mr. Bansal spent 2 years at Crown Capital, a middle-market LBO fund, and 2 years at Wasserstein Perella, rotating between M&A and bankruptcy restructuring advisory assignments. Mr. Bansal received an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and a BA in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
