Adam Shield is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in audio technology and plugin development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and DevOps Engineer at Antares Audio Technologies, Adam focuses on developing cross-platform audio plugins using C++ and the JUCE framework, while also managing codebase health and build systems. Additionally, Adam collaborates with Techivation to create the T-Compressor audio plugin and maintains its codebase. Previously, as Head of Development at Maat Inc, significant contributions were made in creating audio applications for mastering engineers. Adam also has a background in freelance development specializing in music technology and has experience educating middle school students in various subjects at the intersection of art and technology. Adam holds a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Composition from Carnegie Mellon University.
