Deon Mahaffie

Deon Mahaffie is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in IT Cybersecurity and Compliance, currently serving as the IT Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager at Antero Resources since January 2014. Deon has a strong track record in developing and managing cybersecurity and compliance programs that align with business objectives, focusing on governance, risk management, and compliance. Previous experience includes the role of Information Systems Security Manager at Forest Oil Corporation from January 2006 to December 2013, where Deon was responsible for creating security policies and a Security Awareness Training Program. Deon holds a Master’s degree in Information Security Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Regis University, as well as two Associate degrees in Petroleum Technology and Physical Sciences from Colorado Northwestern Community College. Since February 2021, Deon has been retired.
