Jürgen Horn

Jürgen Horn is a Senior Advisor and Venture Partner at Anterra Capital. Jürgen has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Prior to joining Anterra, Jürgen was the Chief Product Development Officer at Nexvet Biopharma, a biopharmaceutical company transforming veterinary medicine. Jürgen was also the Sr Director Global Innovation Strategy at Elanco, where they were responsible for innovation strategy and portfolio management.

Jürgen began their career at Novartis Animal Health Inc, where they spent 11 years in various leadership roles. Jürgen was the Head of Global Technical Services, the Head of Lead Finding and the Head of Global Pharmaceuticals Development. In these roles, they oversaw the development of new innovative products and managed clinical development projects.

Jürgen has a proven track record of success in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Jürgen is a strategic thinker with a passion for bringing new products to market. Jürgen is a valuable asset to the team at Anterra Capital.

Jürgen Horn completed a PhD in Cardiology and Pharmacology at the Royal Veterinary College, U. of London, and a Dr.med.vet. in Veterinary Medicine at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Jürgen also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an EMBA from London Business School.
