Artem Mariychin is currently the Managing Director at Anthelion Capital, an investment fund focused on financing and data analytics for environmentally sustainable companies. Prior to this, Artem held various roles at companies like Nike, where Artem was the Senior Director of Member Data Science & Models, and at Zodiac, where Artem was the Co-Founder & CEO. Artem has a strong background in finance and analytics, with a BA in Biology and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School.

The firm was founded in 2015 and is based in New York City. In 2018, Anthelion Capital partnered with Cowen Inc. to advance growth as Cowen Sustainable Investments. In December 2023, co-founders Vusal Najafov and Ewa Kozicz reacquired the firm and rebranded it back to Anthelion Capital. The platform has $1.3 billion in assets, primarily from large institutional investors including pension plans and sovereign wealth funds. Anthelion Capital’s mission is to seek to deliver excess risk-adjusted returns by leveraging its proprietary AI software platform and data science team to accelerate sustainable innovation.
