You will

  • Work with Operations to monitor the performance of service contractors/trades to ensure the business plan standards are achieved
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure assets are maintained and operated to an Anthem standard and have great curb appeal
  • Research, analyze and prepare recommendations for services and repairs; coordinate and supervise completion of projects
  • Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed, including creation of Operation Manuals
  • Establish strong relationships with tenants and provide a proactive, exemplary level of service
  • Ensure tenants are operating in accordance with their lease obligations
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs and work with the construction team on tenant buildouts or Landlord’s work
  • Prepare and distribute tenant communications
  • Participate in annual budget preparation and implement operating budgets, report variances and enhance revenue opportunities
  • Manage the rent collection process and initiate appropriate action, as required, to collect arrears
  • Prepare purchase orders, review invoices and provide A/P support, as needed
  • Review tenant billings and year-end adjustments
  • Administer and maintain timely organization of all files, contracts and software programs
  • Assist with general administrative duties and projects
  • Be on call for property emergencies

You have

  • 2+ years’ experience working in real estate management

  • A post-secondary education in a related field (preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • A growth mindset and a great attitude

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Excel

Salary range

  • $70,000 - $80,000 per year estimated, based on experience.
