Leann Anderson is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in various teaching and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Trust English Specialist at Anthem Schools Trust since September 2022, Leann previously worked at LEADEquate Teaching School Hub from September 2020 to August 2022, focusing on Initial Teacher Training and teaching and learning. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at KYRA Teaching School, where Leann functioned as a Deputy, providing school-to-school support and leading initiatives in teacher CPD and primary reading development. Additionally, Leann held the position of KS1 Moderation Manager, overseeing local authority moderation processes in Lincolnshire. Earlier in their career, from March 2005 to December 2016, Leann held multiple roles at Waddington All Saints School, including Foundation Stage Teacher, Year 5/6 Leader, and Deputy Head Teacher, while also leading in English and Art. Academically, Leann holds a PGCE from Bishop Grosseteste University, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lincoln, and an NPQH from Best Practice Network.

Anthem started out in 2011 under the name CfBT Schools Trust with just three schools, and now serves over 8,000 children and young people across the East Midlands, London and Thames Valley. All our schools are unique, and each has something special to offer. Together, we create ambitious and successful schools where every child thrives. As a multi-academy trust, Anthem is first and foremost a school improvement organisation, responsible for ensuring that the public money we receive to run our 11 primary schools and five secondary schools is used to drive the best possible outcomes for their pupils and students.
