Principal Consultant at Anthesis

Freddie is a Principal Consultant in Anthesis’ Cities team, based in London, with a broad background in sustainability related strategy, measurement, and reporting.

At Anthesis, Freddie manages a variety of climate change related projects, predominantly with cities and local authorities. His work includes a focus on climate change action planning, and he is experienced researching and modelling areas for action and designing and leading stakeholder engagement sessions through which to understand local priorities and embed plans. Freddie has also worked with local authorities on their Net Zero target setting, progress tracking, and in better understanding the opportunities and challenges associated with COVID-19 and a green recovery. Most recently, Freddie is leading on the development of a new digital tool to better support local government in monitoring and reporting local climate action. Relating to the private sector, Freddie has supported in assessing resilience to climate risks, and in improved sustainability reporting and communications.

Prior to joining Anthesis Freddie has had multiple climate focussed roles, including developing the supply chain sustainability strategy at a multinational retailer, providing advice around compliance with emerging climate regulations, and informing the recommendations of the TCFD’s Phase 1 report.
