Ian Forrester

Ian Forrester is the Group Commercial & Risk Director and Managing Director of Anthesis Energy UK. Ian has over 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Ian has worked extensively in Europe and the UK, with a focus on contaminated land, energy, and sustainability services. Prior to joining Anthesis, they were a Director at WSP Environment & Energy and WSP Remediation. Ian has also held leadership positions at Shepherd Gilmour Environmental and AIG Consultants. Ian Forrester began their career as a Soils Engineer at NORWEST HOLST SOIL ENGINEERING LIMITED and later worked as a Mining and Exploration Geologist at Anglo American.

Ian Forrester has a MSc in Applied Environmental Investigation from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a BSc in Geology from London Metropolitan University.

Ian Forrester reports to Stuart Mclachlan, CEO. They work with Hannah Dick - Principal Consultant, Claire Bosch Zuazo - Associate Director, and Enda Colfer - Regional Director.
