Kim Van Boden

Kim van Boden is a Senior Consultant on the Climate Risk team and is based in Newburyport, MA. She has 5 years of experience across corporate sustainability and climate strategy with a focus on utilities and the energy sector and is skilled in thinking critically about the intersection of business and the environment. Early in her career, Kim consulted for electric utilities on state and federal clean energy and climate policy and helped companies understand the implications of regulations and identify decarbonizations strategies. Kim also worked for an electric utility to launch and scale two first-of-its-kind EV infrastructure programs designed to install thousands of charging stations in California. Additionally, Kim was a Director with FTI Consulting’s ESG Advisory team where she advised clients on responding to ESG reporting frameworks such as SASB and TCFD.

Kim holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Boston University.
