Dr. Ilona Wachter

Dr. Ilona Wachter has a strong background in finance and asset management. Dr. Ilona currently holds the position of Managing Director of Business Development DACH at Anthos Fund & Asset Management. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at obnosys OÜ. Dr. Wachter also served as the Senior Director of Institutional Sales at LAIC Capital GmbH and the Senior Director of Institutional Funding at hep global GmbH. Dr. Ilona gained experience as the Director of Danske Bank A/S and as a Managing Director at Assenagon Asset Management. Additionally, they held the role of Executive Relationship Management Institutional Clients Germany at Spängler IQAM Invest GmbH. Earlier in their career, Dr. Wachter worked as the Director of Institutional at max.xs financial services AG and as a Director at Muzinich & Co. Dr. Ilona began their professional journey as a Managing Director at BNP Paribas Investment Partners.

Dr. Ilona Wachter pursued their education in a chronological manner. Dr. Ilona began their studies at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 1985 and completed them in 1991, earning a Diplom Kaufmann / Master's Degree. During this time, their field of study is not specified. In 2012, they enrolled at Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave for their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, specializing in Management / Asset Management.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Wachter has obtained several certifications. In 2005, they became a certified NLP Trainer by the Deutscher Verband für Neuro-Linguistisches Programmieren e.V. - DVNLP. In 2016, they achieved the Commercial Pilot LBA certification from LBA Luftfahrtbundesamt. Most recently, in 2021, Dr. Wachter obtained the CESGA Certified ESG Analyst certification from EFFAS - The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies.
