Eric Hambro

Eric Hambro is a member of the technical staff at Anthropic since December 2023, specializing in large language model research. Prior to this, Eric worked as a research engineer at Facebook AI from September 2020 to November 2023, focusing on infrastructure and evaluation for large-scale language model training and offline reinforcement learning methods. Eric's experience also includes roles as a senior machine learning engineer and research engineer at PROWLER.io, a senior machine learning consultant at Recognitive.AI, and a financial software developer at Bloomberg LP. Eric has completed educational programs at the University of Cambridge, where a BA and MSci in Experimental & Theoretical Physics were obtained, and at UCL, where an MSc in Machine Learning was earned.
