Marina Favaro

Marina Favaro is a seasoned professional in policy analysis and research, currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst at Anthropic since January 2023. Previously, Marina worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy, where management of a large-scale project on emerging technologies was key. Marina has also held positions as a Research Consultant at King's College London, focusing on mixed-methods research, and as the Emerging Technologies Programme Manager at BASIC, concentrating on warfare and arms control impacts of new technologies. Prior experience includes an Analyst role at RAND Europe, where engagement in policy research and proposal development was critical, and early work as a Project Manager at the Global Reporting Centre, successfully securing funding exceeding $3 million. Marina's academic background includes ongoing MPhil studies at the University of Cambridge, a Postgraduate Degree in Applied Data Science from Birkbeck, and a BA in International Relations from The University of British Columbia.
