Nicholas Joseph

Nicholas Joseph is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic since January 2021. Previously, Nicholas held a similar position at OpenAI from May 2020 to January 2021, focusing on studying and forecasting AI systems to advance towards artificial general intelligence. Prior to that, Nicholas worked as a Research Engineer at Vicarious AI from December 2017 to May 2020, where efforts were directed towards training neural networks for computer vision applications. Nicholas began their career as a Summer Research Analyst at GiveWell in 2016, conducting research on global health and economic interventions. Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Harvard University, earned in 2017.
