Phil Zakharchenko is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in UI frameworks and iOS development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since October 2025, Zakharchenko previously held the position of Founding Engineer at Software Applications Incorporated from December 2023 to November 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Apple, focusing on macOS projects related to AppKit and SwiftUI, and positions at GymSplat as Lead iOS Engineer and CrowdBack LLC as Co-Founder.
