Sophia Porter

Sophia Porter is an accomplished technical program manager currently with Anthropic, focusing on Responsible Scaling Policy since February 2024. Previously, Sophia held various roles at Blue Origin from April 2019 to February 2024, including Customer Project Manager for BE-3U Engines and Propulsion Test Engineering Manager for the BE-4 rocket engine, and also served as a Test Operations Engineer. In addition to experience as a Brooke Owens Fellow and projects with NASA HQ and SpaceX, Sophia is a Parabolic Flight Coach at Zero-G and utilized expertise in software development during a summer program at the Space Telescope Science Institute. Sophia holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics and Statistics from The Johns Hopkins University.
