Gerald Boudreaux has held several positions in their career. From 1985 to 1990, they served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Gerald then became a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser for the Taylor Appraisal Company from 1990 to 1993. In 1993, they were a Business Development Manager for Harborside Healthcare. Additionally, they are the Director of Sales and Customer Success for SmartSteward, where they develop a SaaS platform to automate infection control and antibiotic stewardship systems in skilled nursing facilities, using machine learning. Gerald also identifies, recruits, and onboards skilled nursing facilities, and creates printed sales aids and video presentations.

Gerald Boudreaux obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Florida. Gerald later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, they obtained a certification in The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn in March 2021.
