Xiaowu Liang

Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO at Antigen Discovery

Xiaowu Liang is the Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO at Antigen Discovery. Xiaowu has over 25 years of experience in the biotech industry. Xiaowu has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley. Xiaowu did their post-doctoral research at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Afterwards, they worked as a Lead Scientist for Invitrogen Corp in their biodefense division. In 2004, they joined Gene Therapy Systems as their Department Manager of Molecular Biology. Xiaowu left in 2010 to start Antigen Discovery with their current business partner, Jianjun Chen.

Liang received their B.S. from Peking University. Xiaowu then went on to earn doctorates from UC San Diego and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Liang is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard Business School.
