Investment Director, NextGen at Antin Infrastructure Partners

Sue Yang is the current Investment Director, NextGen at Antin Infrastructure Partners. Prior to this, they were Vice President at Orion Energy Partners from July 2018 to May 2021. Orion Energy Partners is a credit-oriented private equity firm focused on providing creative capital solutions to middle market energy infrastructure businesses across North America and select international markets, and across a broad range of subsectors from distributed power generation, midstream infrastructure, and fuel supply and distribution to energy-enabled digital infrastructure, recycling, and energy-linked industrials.

Before Orion Energy Partners, Sue Yang was at Macquarie Group from August 2015 to July 2018 as a Senior Investment Associate for Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets. There they invested in real estate and early/late stage startups that are creating lasting value in America’s legacy cities and beyond.

Prior to Macquarie Group, Sue Yang was Co-Founder and Investor at Emerging America from February 2013 to August 2015. And before that, Sue Yang was a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from August 2010 to February 2013.

Sue Yang received their MBA from Harvard Business School in General Management. Sue also holds a Certificate from the Summer Urban Planning Institute at University of California, Berkeley. Her BA is in Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on urban and economic development from Columbia University. Sue is a certified Kauffman Fellow in Venture Deals from Summer 2020.
