Barry Aldous

Barry Aldous has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years. Barry began their career in 1989 as a Consultant Scientist for Pafra Ltd Biopreservation Division. In 1997, they were hired as a Scientist II by Nektar Therapeutics, eventually becoming the Applications Manager in the same company. In 2006, they joined Pfizer as a Principal Scientist and was later promoted to Senior Principal Scientist. In 2015, they moved to Novartis as a Fellow, PHAD Project Lead and Project Manager. In 2018, they became an Independent Consultant for Barry Aldous Consulting, and also held the roles of Director of Product Development and Manufacturing and Associate Director of Product Development for Antiva Biosciences, Inc.

Barry Aldous obtained a BSC Hons in Applied Chemistry from The University of Huddersfield. In March 2021, they became a Member Chartered Chemist of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
