Susana Zoghbi

Susana Zoghbi, PhD, is an accomplished expert in artificial intelligence and deep learning, currently serving as the Founder and Chief AI Officer at Alva since July 2024, focusing on energy efficiency solutions for homeowners. As a Founder in Residence at Antler, Susana is part of a select group working to build new ventures in the 2024 Nordic Cohort. Previously, as Head of Deep Learning at Greyparrot from November 2020 to November 2022, Susana led initiatives in waste analytics for the circular economy. Susana co-founded and served as CEO of macty.eu and conducted AI research at NASA Ames Research Center while earning a PhD in Computer Science from KU Leuven. Additional experience includes roles at Microsoft, Tsinghua University, and The University of British Columbia, highlighting a robust academic and professional background in robotics and AI.
