Jacky Im

Jacky IM is a Co-founder and CTO at Neptune Robotics, a technology company in Hong Kong focused on robotic cleaning of ship hulls utilizing advanced algorithms to reduce maritime fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 2050. In addition to this role since November 2018, Jacky IM has been a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First since July 2018. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineer internship at Dorabot Inc., where skills in designing a haptic pressure sensor for robotic grippers were developed, and research internships at EPFL, contributing to the construction of an NMR spectrometer and automating sample manipulation in ultra-high vacuum systems. Jacky IM holds a Master of Philosophy in Technology Leadership & Entrepreneurship from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics from EPFL and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
