Wies de Volder is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in retail media and category management. Currently serving as a Founder in Residence at Antler since January 2023, Wies has also operated as a Freelance Retail Media & Category Manager at WDV since July 2017. Previous roles include Head of Partnerships and Partnerships Manager at Zapp from September 2021 to January 2023, and Purchasing and Merchandising Manager at JD.COM, where responsibilities encompassed EU Omni-Channel retail business development and procurement negotiations. Additionally, Wies held product management and buying positions at Luxor Fashion Group BV. and gained experience in communication and PR as a Communications Intern at Ontimeshow. Wies holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion & Management from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and has studied Chinese culture and language at The University of Hong Kong.
