Stephane Angers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cellular and biomolecular research. Stephane is the Director at the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research at the University of Toronto since September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Scientific Founder at AntlerA Therapeutics from September 2018. Stephane has been associated with the University of Toronto since 2006, where they held positions such as Professor, Associate Dean of Research, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Stephane was also the Scientific Founder at ModMab Therapeutics from June 2018 to June 2021. Stephane started their career as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Washington from 2002, and prior to that, they were a Ph.D student at Michel Bouvier's lab from 1998. Stephane's early career also includes a role as a Scientist at Biosignal from 1997.

Stephane Angers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from McGill University from 1993 to 1997. After that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Université de Montréal from 1998 to 2002.
