Xinyao (Alvin) Sun, Ph.D., is a distinguished Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Matrix Labs since January 2019, with a robust academic presence as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta. Xinyao has held significant roles in research and development, including a postdoctoral fellowship focused on blockchain technology and metaverse applications. Contributions to the Canadian Blockchain Consortium as a committee member since February 2023 and leadership in technical projects at the University of Alberta showcase expertise in InSAR and machine learning.
