Prajish Sankar

Robotics Software Engineer at ANYbotics

Prajish Sankar has work experience as a Robotics Software Engineer at ANYbotics since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Master Thesis student at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich from December 2018 to October 2019. During their time there, they implemented hybrid walking-driving motions on the quadrupedal robot, ANYmal, and deployed the system at the DARPA Subterrain Challenge. Additionally, they also worked as an Invited Visiting Student at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich in June and July 2016, where they conducted an undergraduate research internship under the guidance of Prof. Dr. William Taylor.

Prajish Sankar completed their high school education in the Science Stream at Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, from 1999 to 2013. Prajish then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they pursued their MSc. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in BioMechanical Design, specifically BioRobotics, at Delft University of Technology from 2017 to 2019.
