Olivier Roussel is a Robotics Software Engineer at Inria since April 2023, primarily focused on integrating key robotics research software, including the SOFA framework and Pinocchio. Previously, Olivier served as a Robotics Engineer at VINOVALIE R&D, contributing to the R2T2 wine pruning robot project. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at LAAS-CNRS, Olivier developed software for the pruning module and optimized motion planning and control for dual industrial manipulators. Prior experience includes roles at EasyMile, specializing in navigation for autonomous vehicles, and as a Scientific Consultant at Wandercraft, where dynamic control for a robotic exoskeleton was addressed. Olivier’s academic accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Robotics, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in related fields from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
