Leah Shough

Leah Shough is the current Head of Legal at Anyroad, Inc. Leah has previously served as the General Counsel at JustAnswer from January 2014 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for counseling the executive team on all aspects of legal risk relating to product and business initiatives, overseeing worldwide legal affairs for the company, and aligning with branding and product management to create strategy for marketing and consumer-focused communications that are compliant with regulatory requirements but clear the path for business innovation.

Shough has also been responsible for overseeing rapid international growth and operations to ensure overseas expansion complies with local tax, corporate and regulatory requirements, including set-up and oversight of new international offices. Leah has also drafted, reviewed and maintained state of the art online terms and policies (including privacy policies), standard form services agreements and consulting agreements.

Leah Shough has a B.A. in Classics from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
