Alex Tang

Alex Tang is the current Head of Finance and Accounting at Anyscale. Prior to this, Alex was with Scale AI from April 2019 to March 2022 as Vice President, Corporate Controller. In this role, Alex was responsible for leading and building processes and systems to ensure the company was IPO-ready in both financial forecasting and actual reporting for all hardware products related activities in both US and globally. This included account payable, account receivable, revenue accounting, cost accounting, control, month-end, GL accounting, finance/budgeting, and analytic functions. Alex was able to utilize their SQL skills to generate information from databases for ad hoc analysis.

Alex Tang's educational career includes a Master's in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor's in Accounting from the same school, and various certifications from WSET, Stanford University, IMA, and AICPA.
