Aviv Keren

Aviv Keren has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Aviv is currently working as a Senior Applied Scientist - NLP at Anyword since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Deep Learning Researcher at Edgify (formerly known as Pixoneye) from March 2019 to March 2020. From 2006 to 2016, Aviv served as the Tutor of "Intro to Formal Logic", "Logic of Mathematical Structures", and "Set Theory" at Hebrew University in the Philosophy & Math. Depts. In 2010, they briefly worked at Microsoft as an Algorithmic Cognitive Science Consultant from September to November. Aviv also gained experience as an Algorithm Developer and Student at IBM research in Haifa from October 2001 to October 2004. Aviv began their career as a Programmer & System Designer at Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps, where they worked from August 1997 to October 2000.

Aviv Keren has a diverse education history with a focus on mathematics and cognitive science. In 2004, Aviv completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Additionally, Aviv also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the same institution. Later on, Aviv pursued a Master's Degree in Cognitive Science at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which was completed by 2015. Aviv further continued their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Logic in 2007. Aviv's educational journey culminated with the completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Philosophy of Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2018.
