Harish H R

Harish H R is an experienced technology leader with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving as Technology Area Lead at ANZ since August 2005. In this role, Harish leads the Cloud Databases engineering practice, oversees Global Database Operations, and manages Database Life Cycle and Compliance initiatives. Harish has orchestrated a migration strategy for transitioning from Oracle to PostgreSQL, developed a comprehensive database strategy for security and compliance, and transformed the technology area to be future-ready with a focus on cloud competencies. Previous positions at ANZ include Product Area Lead, Portfolio Director, Program Director, and Delivery Manager for eCommerce Systems. Harish began their career at Nanosoft and Surya Softech PVT LTD, holding roles that emphasized software development and project leadership. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Swami Vivekanand Institute and a Diploma in Computer Science from Shri Ramanuja Institute of Technology.
