Lakshman Anantakrishnan

Lakshman Anantakrishnan is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at ANZ Private since November 2021. Prior to this role, Lakshman held the position of Chief Investment Officer at AMP Australia from July 2019 to May 2021, where contributions focused on advising the Trustee Board to enhance investment performance and restructure investment arrangements. With a strong background in portfolio management, Lakshman was the Head of Portfolio Management at Credit Suisse from May 2010 to June 2019, where responsibilities included building a billion-dollar asset management business and managing diverse investment strategies. Earlier experiences include serving as Portfolio Manager at BT from 2005 to 2007 and as PM/Analyst at Principal Global Investors from March 2003 to March 2005. Lakshman Anantakrishnan holds a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of New South Wales, completed between 2001 and 2003.
