Huong Ho, MBA, CIC, CLCS, CISR

Huong Ho has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years. Huong began their career in 2010 as an Account Manager with PHP Insurance Services. In 2011, they moved to HUB International as an Account Executive. In 2013, they joined ProCo Insurance Services, where they held roles as Account Manager for the Middle Market, Manager of the Select Business Unit, and Account Manager of the Select Business Unit. In 2017, they joined Newfront Insurance as the Director of Operations. In this role, they led several key initiatives to help Newfront scale from a $500k valuation company to a $1.65b valuation company post-merger with ABD. Huong also headed the operations team to service >5k/month policy changes and certificate requests, while still hitting >90% completion-on-time rate with <5% defect rate. Additionally, they held roles as Head of QA and Account Management. In 2022, they joined Anzen Insurance as the VP of Insurance Operations. In this role, they launched Anzen to make insurance more customer-centric and rewarding for founders and business owners. Huong also led the finance function and quarterbacked Anzen with raising $10m seed round, and joined forces with the underwriting team to customize insurance guidelines for a healthy loss ratio of < 48%.

Huong Ho earned a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from California State University - East Bay. In 2013, Huong Ho obtained the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) certification. In 2015, Huong Ho obtained the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) certifications.
