Igal Alkon

Igal Alkon has over 20 years of work experience in software development and leadership roles. Igal most recently worked as a Senior C++ Developer at Anzu.io starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Developer at Versatile from 2021 to 2022, where they worked with IoT devices and cloud-based AWS IoT Core. From 2019 to 2020, Igal worked as a Senior Backend Developer at Wenrix, where they developed back-end system modules using Python and PostgreSQL. Igal also built a custom data processing pipeline using Spark, EMR, and Athena.

From 2017 to 2018, Igal worked as a Senior Backend Developer at GuruShots, where they developed back-end modules with PHP and integrated SyllaDB to support real-time updates and millions of concurrent users. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at EZmob, leading the development, maintenance, and operations of web systems in the AdTech industry.

Between 2012 and 2015, Igal worked as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Easytobook.com, where they were involved in architecture team duties and the development of back-end core modules. Igal also led the re-engagement module team.

Before that, from 2011 to 2012, they were a Software Development Team Lead at USG Capital, where they developed web-based financial products and managed a multilingual and global product. Prior to that, Igal owned their own company called Whitedrop from 2007 to 2010.

Igal's career started as a Freelancer in web development from 1999 to 2001. Overall, they have a strong background in software development, team leadership, and working with various programming languages such as C++, Python, and PHP.

From 2007 to 2008, Igal Alkon attended Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering. During their time there, they pursued a B.Sc in Software Engineering.
