Emilie Waickwicz Slager, CF APMP

Emilie Waickwicz Slager, CF APMP has held a variety of roles in the professional services, loan officer assistant, and technical writing and editing fields since 2011.

In 2011, Emilie began their career as an Associate Technical Writer-Editor at Alion Science and Technology, where they edited, wrote, and proofread proposal related documents, analyzed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure documents were compliant with Government/client standards, and participated in Proposal Team Reviews, final reviews, and final production processes.

In 2013, Emilie moved to First Heritage Mortgage, where they served as a Loan Officer Assistant.

Since 2014, Emilie has been employed at Key Solutions (KSI) as both a Director of Professional Services and a Proposal Development Consultant, CF APMP. As Director of Professional Services, Emilie is responsible for developing and overseeing the product and services that align with the KSI Advantage\u2122 process, as well as oversight of the KSI Business Development team, scoping of proposal/project LOEs, and resource planning for each client engagement KSI supports. As a Proposal Development Consultant, Emilie supports and/or leads proposal development activities for assigned proposal sections, researches and gathers technical and/or business information for proposal development purposes, and applies winning proposal concepts, practices, and procedures with writing methodologies to incorporate information and themes into assigned proposal sections.

Emilie Waickwicz Slager holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Hollins University in English Language and Literature, General, obtained in 2011. Emilie also holds certifications from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (CF APMP) at the Foundation Level, obtained in May 2018, and from Shipley Associates in Managing Federal Proposals and Writing Federal Proposals, obtained in March 2014.
