The role
Europe is home to some of the world’s largest beverage and food companies, and AoFrio is looking to grow its current business in the region. This role will working closely with high-profile food and beverage Brands (such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi Co, and ABI InBev) in Europe.

If assisting large  Brands in adopting IoT and integrating insights into their workflows to achieve a huge range of benefits interests you, this is a great opportunity. Your primary mission is to drive regional commercial success by achieving the annual revenue and margin targets and to establish the region’s long-term commercial plan. This will be achieved through a range of activities that nurture stable relationships with customers and prospects and strategic actions that maximize results for the company.

The Commercial Director is responsible for driving local and global resources to contribute to positive outcomes for the business.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction while delivering strategic business outcomes based on long-term commercial relations.
  • Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
  • Play a pivotal role in managing a successful Regional Team for sales, technical support, and implementation management.
  • Be at the forefront of securing new revenue streams in the Europe region.

As our ideal candidate, you'll excel at coordinating regional efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining a strong market position. You'll be instrumental in driving our hardware-enabled SaaS solutions forward and ensuring connectivity solutions remain at the forefront.

You'll play a pivotal role in gathering and analysing competitor intelligence, providing valuable insights to shape our commercial strategy. Your ability to align regional efforts with global initiatives will be essential in driving our overall success.

Furthermore, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or another demonstrated applicable field.

  • Minimum of five years of proven work experience as a commercial director or in another relevant role.

  • Strong experience in commercial and support team management

  • Previous experience in the commercial refrigeration market will be highly regarded

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing and managing relationships with key clients.

  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes

  • Previous experience in the commercial refrigeration market will be highly regarded.

  • Being able to speak English professionally.
