Aubrey Schuurmans

Aubrey Schuurmans has a diverse work experience. In 2006, they started their career as a Professional Track Athlete with USA Track & Field. Later, they worked as a Counselor/Trainer at Genesis Health Clubs. In 2015, they became an Independent Beauty Consultant for Younique Products and also took on the role of Counselor at FITGirl, Inc., where they facilitated self-esteem and self-love building adventures for young women. From 2015 to 2022, Aubrey held multiple positions at Metropolitan Community College, including Adjunct Instructor and Career & Technical Education Industry Coordinator. In 2018, they became an Instructor and Trades Recruiter at Metropolitan Community College. Aubrey also gained experience in talent acquisition as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Enterprise Properties Inc. Currently, they are the Director of Talent Acquisition at AOI Corporation, where they are responsible for overseeing talent acquisition strategies and processes.

Aubrey Schuurmans holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development from South Dakota State University, which was obtained between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Black Hills State University from 2006 to 2009. Aubrey'ssecondary education was at Redfield High School, where they obtained a high school diploma between 2000 and 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Aubrey possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute acquired in April 2021. Aubrey also completed a course on transitioning from Manager to Leader from LinkedIn in 2018 and holds a certification as a Certified Strengths Finder Coach, although the institution is not specified. Additionally, they are recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors, and has obtained a certification in Personal Training from the American Sports and Fitness Association.
