Dr. Volker Gutberlet

Dr. Volker Gutberlet has extensive experience in agile methodologies and project management, currently serving at AOK Systems GmbH since February 2004 in various capacities, including Zuhörer, Fragensteller, Lernender, and Agilist. Dr. Gutberlet has been instrumental in the conception and implementation of agile methods, coaching project teams, and leading a core team initiative focused on establishing a Flight Level architecture. Previous roles include "Head of Agile," where responsibilities involved managing transformation projects and internal Agile coach development, as well as serving as Abteilungsleiter Kompetenz-Pool, overseeing a department of approximately 50 employees. Earlier in the career at sd&m AG (now Capgemini), software engineering work was carried out in healthcare and logistics. Dr. Gutberlet began the professional journey as a scientific assistant and doctoral candidate at the Biologische Bundesanstalt für Land- und Forstwirtschaft and holds a Dr. agr. in Agricultural Sciences and a Diplom-Biologe in Biology from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
