Tatjana Christians has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles across multiple prominent companies in the financial sector. Currently, Tatjana serves as Chief Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as the EMEA Head of Legal & Compliance for HCS at Aon since August 2019. Prior to this, Tatjana was a Director at Barclays, managing Brexit execution and legal strategy from April 2017 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Legal for Barclaycard Germany from March 2010 to April 2017 and as an attorney specializing in commercial litigation and dispute resolution at White & Case LLP from February 2003 to February 2010. Tatjana's education includes a Second State Exam in Law from the Higher Court (OLG) Celle and a First State Exam in Law from the University of Hamburg.
