Alex Aranda

R&D Engineer at Aortyx

Alex Aranda has a diverse work experience. Alex started working as a Gerente de bar at Akelarre Ibiza in June 2015, where they managed the bar until September 2015. In September 2015, they also joined eClub IQS as an Event Manager until January 2016. From November 2015 to March 2016, they worked at Tractivus as a Design & 3D Printing specialist. In June 2017, they joined Eisenmann Corporation as a Service Industrial Engineer intern for a duration of 5 months, where they supported Spanish clients in managing spare parts necessities. Currently, since September 2018, they are working as an R&D Engineer at Aortyx.

Alex Aranda began their education at Padre Damián Sagrados Corazones, where they completed their primary, secondary, and high school education from 1997 to 2012. They then attended IQS Barcelona and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technologies from 2012 to 2016. Alex continued their education at IQS Barcelona and completed a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Materials from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they also studied as a Visiting Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Health Sciences & Technology Department - Edelman Lab. Alex is currently pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering as a candidate at IQS Barcelona since 2018. In addition, in November 2019, they obtained the certification of Ingeniero Industrial from Enginyers Industrials de Catalunya.
